Become a small-scale producer – make use of your own energy!
Generate electricity yourself and sell the surplus to the grid.
Remember to report your production equipment before connecting – this is required for safety and approval.
What is small-scale electricity production?
Small-scale production means that the customer generates electricity themselves – for example, using solar panels – for their own home or property. Any surplus can be sold back to the grid, but the production equipment must be approved by us before it is taken into use.
Benefits of small-scale electricity production – why become a microproducer?
Save on electricity bills
Produce your own electricity and buy less.
Earn from surplus
Sell excess electricity back to the grid.
Produce clean energy
Generate renewable energy and make a difference.

Examples of small-scale electricity production:
- Solar panel systems
- Wind generators
- Micro hydro power
- Hybrid systems (e.g. solar + battery storage)
The equipment must not be connected to the grid without approval
Unauthorized equipment can result in a connection ban, inability to sell electricity, or even dangerous situations.
Submit your notification in time – safety and smoothness are ensured with one single form.
Frequently asked questions
