Converting the connection to three-phase
The main fuse can be replaced by an electrical contractor, but this change also requires our approval. The work will be charged according to the service price list.

Modifications to the meter cabinet
Modification needs may arise, for example, from:

Connection maintenance
If you do not need electricity but want to keep the connection right, you can transfer the connection to maintenance:
- the meter is removed
- the cable is disconnected from the grid, which is charged according to the service price list
- a monthly maintenance fee is charged
The connection can be reactivated later without a new connection fee. Before reconnection, an inspection by an electrical contractor is required.

Termination of the connection
You can also terminate the electricity connection permanently:
- we remove the meter and disconnect the connection
- termination is final
- a new connection requires a new contract and connection fee

Change of ownership

Activation of the P1 port
All our new meters have a P1 port (HAN port). This port enables, for example, load balancing for chargers and the use of other home automation solutions that depend on the household’s electricity consumption/production.

We offer our customers help with felling trees in yards when the tree removal could endanger the electricity network or is otherwise difficult to carry out safely.

Tree-cutting assistance for securing power lines is free of charge within Herrfors Nät-Verkko’s distribution area, provided the work request is made at least 3 working days before the job.
If the tree is close to a power line, it must be felled with great caution. The customer or their hired lumberjack must carry out the actual tree-felling work. Herrfors Nät-Verkko can, if needed, secure the power lines during the operation.

You can now receive SMS messages from Herrfors Nät-Verkko about both planned and unplanned power outages. The SMS service is completely free of charge.
