Recurring short power outages in the Alavieska area

There have recently been more short power outages than usual in the Alavieska area. The reason is an unusual switching configuration in the electricity network, which means that disturbances may affect a wider area than normal.

The situation affects the centre of Alavieska and the surrounding areas.

We are carrying out measures in the network to restore the normal switching configuration and reduce the impact of disturbances. Our goal is to normalize the network situation by the end of the year.
