Summer break in the sale of electricity connections 12 June–20 July
We kindly ask that requests for quotations for new electricity connections be submitted no later than 12 June 2026. The electricity connection sales service will resume normal operations from 21 July onward.

Contractor authorization

The customer can authorize the electrical contractor to handle matters related to the electricity connection or modification work on their behalf. The authorization is done conveniently through an electronic form – paper authorizations are no longer used.

The electronic authorization makes it possible to:

  • Order or modify the electricity connection on behalf of the customer by the contractor
  • Handle matters related to metering and commissioning inspections
  • Manage issues related to connection agreements and technical reports on behalf of the customer

How the electronic authorization works:


  1. The customer fills in and signs the electronic authorization via an online form


  2. The authorization is stored directly in Herrfors Nät-Verkko’s system


  3. The contractor can act according to the authorization as soon as the form has been received
