Maintenance map

This is how we maintain the electricity network

We ensure that the electricity network operates reliably now and in the future. The maintenance map shows current and upcoming maintenance activities across our network area. With the map, you can see what work we are doing and where.

What activities does the map include?

On the maintenance map, you can see the following works:

Maintenance inspections

We regularly check the condition of the network’s structures, components, and equipment. Any faults or risks are repaired preventively.

Clearing of line corridors

We remove vegetation from line corridors to ensure that trees do not cause power outages or safety risks.

Network maintenance and repairs

We replace old poles, cables, and other components as part of planned network upkeep.

Other maintenance activities

For example, cleaning substations, checking earthing, and testing the network.

Why is maintenance carried out?

Preventive maintenance is important to:

  • keep electricity distribution reliable even in challenging weather conditions
  • reduce the risk of faults and shorten repair times
  • ensure the network meets technical and safety requirements
